St Michael's Lodge meets every second Wednesday during the months of September through to May, which means we get together nine times a year. Apart from the annual installation meeting in October the Lodge is opened at 6:30pm and is usually closed around 10pm.

Many people are curious of Freemasonry and wonder what it's all about but are just a little nervous to ask about it or have doubts regarding it. From our point of view our meetings are to be enjoyed and take the form of two parts, the ceremonial part and the social part. The ceremonial part is in the Temple and is where the formalities take place. The second part is the Festive Board where a meal is served and is far more social.

Every so often we have what's known as a White Table meeting whereby friends, wives or partners are invited along to join us and sometimes we invite them into the Temple to take part in some of the things we do, which may be a presentation on a topic of interest. At Christmas we also invite the Widows of members who have passed along, who join us in a short session of Carol Singing followed by a meal and some fun entertainment thought up and usually performed by members of the Lodge.
